Soul'd Out...

We recently had the privilege of having "Soul'd Out Quartet" perform for the men at North Central Correctional Institution in Marion, Ohio. After months of planning by the prison staff, Soul'd Out Quartet and SoundWord Ministries we were finally able to make this concert a reality.

God answered prayers and gave us excellent weather so we could take the concert outdoors to minister to the men that might not normally be inclined to attend a religious service. As "Soul'd Out" sang and drew a crowd on the prison yard, "SoundWord Ministry” volunteers mingled through the mass of inmates sharing the Gospel and inviting them to attend our weekly Tuesday evening service.

A number of men were saved during the invitation given at the end of the concert, but many of the men that we witnessed to during the concert came to our Tuesday evening services over the next few weeks and turned their life over to Christ. Over 60 men were saved because Soul'd Out Quartet was willing to take time out of their busy schedule and perform this free concert, simply for the purpose of reaching the lost for Christ.
